This adaptor is simple and easy to use. Simply connect one end to the display port connection on your graphics card and the other to a VGA connection monitor. I use this device to connect an old monitor to my computer as a secondary display. After plugging it in my computer instantly recognised the new device and extended my display to it. This adaptor is relatively small, with no unnecessary bulk which makes it get for travel. The connections are gold plated which is a nice addition, but in my opinion makes no difference in picture quality.
