VicTsing: Wireless Keyboard and Touchpad

This mini 2.4GHz wireless keyboard with touchpad for VicTsing is perfect for use on an Android TV, computer, raspberry pi... etc. This product is rechargeable with the included usb cable, with means no more wasted batteries. Also included is a user manual, which is nice to have, but the product can be set up and used without consulting it.

I used this mini keyboard and mouse to control my raspberry pi, this makes controlling it much easier as previous I had to swap in the cables from my computers keyboard and mouse. This device is very handy for one off use. I wouldn’t recommend typing an essay on it, but it is very useful for when you are watching television episodes from a distance and wish to skip past the credits. This could also come in handy for presentations in order to skip through slides.

This product has the QWERTY Uk keypad layout and also includes several quick use keys such as the www. and .com keys. The product has a good weight to it and is easier controlled with your thumbs while holding it in your hands. The top of the unit has an on/off switch and the read has a cover which houses the rechargeable battery and the usb connector.

This is a sold product and I find it a lot less hassle to control my raspberry pi. I give this product 5 stars.

This cable connects to your display port and converts it directly into HDMI. Being these are both digital signals the picture and audio quality remains to be excellent. This cable allows you to connect a HDMI device to a display port preventing the need to upgrade to a HDMI output device. Also, if like me your HDMI output ports are full, this cables allows you to utilise your display port to connect a further HDMI device. The cable measure 6 foot in length (approximately 1.8 metres) and has gold plated connectors.

I used this cable to connect the display port of my computer to my ebode HDMI extender. The HDMI socket on my graphics card was already in use by my monitor, so this cable allowed me to connect the extender without the hassle of adding an additional HDMI port and without any loss in quality.

Overall this is a very useful cable if like me have a free display port and no free HDMI ports to connect your device. The cable is strong and sturdy with enough flex for cable management.

The VTin VRazr is a Bluetooth headset perfect for use in the gym on while jogging. This set of earphones is rechargeable with the provided micro usb cable, however I used my phone charger as this is the same standard. It comes with a neat little pouch for storing it in, which is a nice touch. The earphone design allows it to sit in your ear securely without being knocked out from the jolts caused by running. It has an over the ear design which fits comfortably with no irritation. Connection is a breeze; you simply sync it to your smartphone via Bluetooth and play your favourite music/ video.

I used these earphones in the gym with playing Spotify on my Nexus 5 smartphone and also to watch a television episode. The audio quality was very good and the headset remained in my ears and comfortable for my entire session. When I returned from the gym I connected this earphone to my computer via Bluetooth dongle. It most likely was the dongle that was at fault as it does not support the newer Bluetooth standard, however be wary as the sound quality when connected to this dongle sounded like the treble was too high. That said the range from this headset allowed me to pop to the kitchen for a cup of coffee with no disconnection (through two brick walls).

Overall this is a very good quality product and I shall be taking it to the gym with me, many more times.

The VTin PoPer is a stereo Bluetooth speaker driven by 5 watt stereo speakers. It is a small convenient size with an artistic hexagonal shape. The outside of the speaker is solid black plastic with a soft rubber running through the middle over the buttons.

The top of the speaker has three buttons: volume down, play/ pause and volume up. The upper right of the speaker has a further three buttons: power on/ off, previous track and next track and the upper left has a slot for attaching the included wrist-strap. There is a removable flap, which provides access to an aux in port and usb micro port for charging. Lastly there is a microphone located next to the flap, which allows for you to answer calls when the speaker is connected.

The speakers stereo with a satisfying bass, I paired this device with my Nexus 5 and was more than happy with the sound quality from playing Spotify. The speaker seems durable and is deemed to be crash proof and splash proof. This makes this speaker the ideal product to take along with you to the beach or to use in the shower/ bathroom. Overall this is a good quality product, I really like the design with the hexagonal shape.

The VTin Punker is a Bluetooth boombox speaker, which is perfect to listening to music from your smart phone. The outside of the product is made from a solid black rubber which is soft to the touch and it has black plastic and silver metal accents on the edges.

The top of the speaker has four buttons: Power on/off, Volume up/ Next Track, Answer Call/ Call Last number and Volume down/ Previous Track. The left of the speaker has a removable cap which reveals the USB micro charge port and an aux in port. The right of the speaker has a rubber loop for hanging the speaker when on the go. The speakers are dual sided, with stereo speakers coming from the front and a beefy bass coming from the back.

The speaker comes boxed with USB type A to USB micro charge cable, aux lead, carabiner clip and user manual. Pairing with the device is simple enough; it connects over Bluetooth named VTin Punker. I tested this device with Spotify on my Nexus 5 and it sounded great, I really liked the punchy bass tones. Overall this is a solid product.

The VicTsing Battery Booster pack is a portable charging kit for smartphones, laptops, tablets and jump starting your car. The booster pack comes with a 3 pin UK mains cable for charging the pack and also a cigarette charging cable for use in the car. The booster pack comes in its own storage case, which hard shelled with a material covering. The case has two compartments, one for the booster pack and the other for holding the adaptors and cables.

The kits consists of: battery booster pack, mains charger, car charger, flat USB type B adaptor, jump leads, selection of laptop connectors (with compatible cable) and user manuals for the booster pack and the jump leads. Overall it is a very appealing kit and I see it be handy to keep in the boot of the car for emergencies or to take with you for outdoor activities such as hiking, camping or fishing.

The power pack came charged to 94%, which is displayed on the LCD after switching on. To conserve power the LCD screen is on for a brief moment after selecting the desired use. The laptop mode supports 12 volt, 16 volt and 18 volt connections and the included adaptors support 8 types of laptop. Unfortunately none of these are compatible with my Dell XPS 13, but a compatible end for my Mums HP Pavilion G6 and my Dads Toshiba laptop are included.

The power pack boasts a 18000mAh capacity and is fitted with an LED torch, emergency light and a small compass. Overall this is a very high quality product.

Ebode: FM transmitter for car radio

The ebode FM transmitter allows you to listen to music from usb, sd card or audio cable through your car radio. The transmitter comes in a blister pack with a remote control, audio lead, fuse wire and user manual.

Installation is easy enough, firstly put your songs on the desired media. I opted to test with a standard 1GB usb flash drive, but you can use an sd card or plug in your smartphone. The transmitter plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and displays a radio frequency. I adjusted mine to FM 90Hz as the default 80Hz was occupied and tuned my speaker radio to the same frequency. The music played through the radio as if it were any other station and sounded great too. One benefit of broadcasting your own radio signal is that it will not cut off in a tunnel as the reception shall always be excellent.

I see this product being useful for upgrading car audio system to usb, sd card and audio cable input. This is a much cheaper and simpler solution to replacing your car radio to support the great features this product provides. Also playing music via digital means has the added benefit of being crystal clear, without scratching your music CD when driving on bumpy road.

The ebode WAVE40 enables you to listen to music via Bluetooth directly through your speakers. The unit is made from a durable plastic which is matt black (to prevent fingerprints) and measures 77mm x 77mm x 30mm. This device includes: a rca to rca (phono) cable, a rca to 3.5mm audio jack cable, an audio fibre optic cable, a mains lead (with European and UK 3pin swappable pins) and a manual.

The top of the unit has the ebode company sticker and an NFC marking. This is where you can place an NFC enabled smartphone to quick set up the Bluetooth connection to the device. Once a first pair has occurred, placing your smartphone on the unit will initialise the auto pairing. There is a blue power led on the front of the unit, it remains solid when it is connected and flashes otherwise. The input connections are located on the back of the unit. The analog, digital and power sections are each separated with a straight white line. The connections are rca left/right phono, coax, optical and power. The underside of the unit has a single switch for changing between analog and optical.

I have used this product to play spotify music from my smartphone through my studio monitor speakers. I think the clairity of the sound is perfect, I find it amazing that such good sound quality is essentially coming from a smartphone. I really like the NFC quick setup feature, as it enables the Bluetooth and makes the connection for me. This product is a vast improvement the cheap Bluetooth speakers I have several of. This is clearly a premium product and it would be perfect for smartphone music listeners, especially as it lets you use your own speakers.

The ebode HDMI extender allows you to extend your HDMI signal along with IR signal over network cable (cat 5e or cat6 recommended). Due to the way the wires are paired inside a network cable, it allows for signals to be carried much further than standard cables. For HDMI the maximum cable distance is 15 metres before any signal loss occurs. With this product you can extended 1080p video up to 60 metres or 4k video over 50 metres. This makes it perfect for using an A/V device (such as a sky media box) on a television in another room in the house. Not only will this kit transfer high quality HDMI audio and video, but it comes with infrared receivers and emitters so that you can control your device in the other room also.

This kit comes with a HDMI transmitter, HDMI receiver, 2 x mains lead with swappable UK pin 3, European two pin and US 2 pin adapters, 2x IR emitters, 2 x IR receivers, mounting Velcro and a user manual. To use this kit you also require a networking cable of a suitable length for sending the signal between devices. I used a 20metre flat cat5e cable coupled to a 15metre cat5e cable. Please note that if you use existing networking, this device will not work through a router or similar networking device. I had the transmitter connected to the display port of my computers graphics card with a DP to HDMI cable and the receiver was connected to a Samsung 65” curved television. It took very little time to setup and the television was immediately detected and set as a secondary device to my pc.

The product worked perfectly, it was as if I had connected my computer directly to the television. I was not able to test out the IR receivers and emitters, but having reviewed the ebode irlmk infrared mini light, I expect them to function just as perfectly. The receiver and transmitter are both in matt black, with a metal surround and measure 93mm x 69mm x 23mm. Four screw holes are provided on the base which allow for the device to be fixed on a wall. Overall this is a very high quality product and produces high quality audio and video.

The ebode IR Link mini is an IR extension kit which allows for you to send an infrared remote signal to hidden away audio/ video units. The kit comes with an IR receiver, twin IR emitter and mains plug. The receiver can be stuck with the provided sticky pads to the underside of your television or any other location. Its cord measures a good 2.5metres to the 3.5mm jack for connecting the emitters. The emitters have two sensors which are to be stuck with the provided sticky pads to the location of the controllable audio/ video unit. Its cord measures about 1 metre in length and has connectors for the receiver, an extension receiver (not included) and power cable. The UK version of this product comes with a UK 3 pin power cable with a 1.5 metre length cable.

The cords on the receiver and emitters are designed to be as discreet as possible to keep your video/ audio setup looking nice and tidy. I stuck the receiver on the underside of my television and fed it in the cabinet underneath to meet the emitters which I stuck to the front of the DVD player and Sky box. The product was tested by firstly attempting to control the DVD player behind the cabinet with the unit switched off and again with the unit switched on. I found that this product allows me to control my video units without the need for opening the cabinet. The range of control seems to have been extended, but this may be due to the more convenient location of the receiver.

Overall this is a useful kit and it would benefit anyone who has to point the remote in odd locations to control an infra-red unit. Also this product would benefit anyone who would like to control their audio/ video units while they are tucked out of the way.
